Good question! For starters, the annual cost of a full-time senior-level editor now exceeds $100,000, plus benefits (and good luck finding one available). Aside from that, you may not always have enough work to keep them busy at all times, so you're stuck paying for time you aren't able to utilize.

With the monthly plan, you can pause and resume your subscription as often as you need to ensure you're only paying your editor when you have work available for them.

Once subscribed, you're able to add as many video requests to your queue as you'd like, and they will be delivered one by one.

On average, most requests are completed in three days or less. However, more complex requests can take longer.

You might be surprised to hear this, but Video Captain is actually a one-man agency. This means you'll work directly with me, the founder of Video Captain. I have been an editor of all kinds of videos for the past 20 years.  However, on occasion or for special projects, some videos may be edited by partner editors.

If you are located within the New York Metropolitan area, Video Captain can provide shooting services.

If you are located outside of this area and willing to cover air travel and hotel expenses, Video Captain will be happy to give you a quote for the shooting service.

No worries! We'll continue to revise the video until you're 100% satisfied.

If you pause your subscription, whatever remaining time you have in your current month will be paused. When you need to come back, we’ll pick up right where you left off. Any assets or project files will be saved as well.

If you decide to cancel, your assets and project files will be available for 30 days to download. Then they will be deleted. We won’t try to convince you to stay. (Though we will miss you.)

Due to the time-intensive nature of video editing work, there are no refunds.
